So You Think It's Going To Rain

So You Think It’s Going To Rain is a coming-of-age short film that follows three teenage friends over the course of one summer day. Kian, a Luxembourgish teenager of Chinese descent, has just left rehab. His two best friends take him on a surprise day trip in the south of Luxembourg as a way to reconnect and reflect on their futures.

This film is about friendship as a form of healing. I want to approach it with subtlety, without naming things directly or saying “rehab” out loud, but instead letting it unfold. It’s not about one grand gesture or solution, but about presence, to being there for someone without needing to say the perfect thing.
